These pictures were taken at the 2008 Indian Summer Shows in Harrisburg, VA. Sept. 26 and 27, 2008. All three silkies did quite
well. Glint earned his Master Grand Champion award in the second show and Best in Show in the third show. Full results can be found here. We had a great
time and Janet and her family from Springs Run did an excellent
job hosting the show.

This is me with Lightning Bug right after she won her Reserve Grand Champion. She started out a little stressed. She's such a homebody,
she really didn't want to leave home and once she found there was unlimited hay and soft wood shavings in her stall, she didn't want to leave the stall. Springs
Run's Madeleine seen in the background) won Grand Champion. She is just the cutest thing you ever did see!

Glint and Izzy won Best Pair in the third show. Nick got to go in the ring with me for this event and handle Izzy.

By the end of the third show, the little guys were exhausted and spoiled rotten with all the attention!

They did a great job earning the decorations for their stall. |

The ribbons and trophies arrive home. Looks like we need another shelf! |

This was a showmanship clinic put on by Ed, the judge of the second show. It was excellent and very helpful for those of us with little or no
experience in the showring. The ribbons and trophies are lined up for the second and third shows just waiting to go home with some lucky goat!
