Susan G Komen for the Cure 3-Day Walk
Friends and Family, I have the honor of walking in the Susan G. Komen 3Day Walk for the Cure in November in Fort Worth/Dallas, Texas with my sister, Karen,my niece, Chelsea and daughter, Andrea in celebration of Karen's 10 year anniversary of being breast cancer free! Our team has committed to earn $9,200. In order to do this, we are organizing many fundraisers. Here'a a link to our team.

We are collecting empty printer ink cartridges and old cell phones.
Here's a list of cartridges and cell phones. If you have any of these, we would appreciate the donation. If you are local to one of us, we'd be happy to pick them up! Or if you gather a bunch and have a box, we can supply you a shipping label to ship directly to recycler.

Chelsea will be braiding custom harnesses to sell. Pictures to follow. She is also selling candy & lanyards at school.

Andrea is asking her clients at the Red Door Spa in the Kentlands to donate their tips. She is also designing team t-shirts that will be for sale.

Springs Run is sponsoring a silent auction September 26th in VA if anyone has any farm related items they'd like to donate, I'd be happy to take them with me.

I was at the flea market on April 25th in Mt. Airy, MD located at the Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Company carnival grounds, Rt. 27 and Twin Arch Road selling "stuff". I made $131! Thank you everyone that supported me.

The raffle was Sunday May 3rd at the MD Sheep and Wool Festival. Congratulations to Donna Mellin for winning the hat and shawl!
